Q: How does permanent jewelry work?
A: After choosing your chain and charms, we custom fit and weld the jewelry on you. The process is quick, simple and painless.
Q: Where can I the chains and charms you offer?
A: We have our most requested styles in stock however, our styles are constantly changing based on demand. Feel free to text us at 587-897-6515 for in-stock styles.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located within OutLash Beauty Boutique’s Montgomery location at 4533 Bowness RD NW, Calgary, AB. You can also find us at pop-ups, markets or have us come to you for an event.
Q: Do I need to remove my jewelry at the airport?
A: No, you can wearing Sterling Silver, 14kt Gold Filled and Rose Gold Filled jewelry through security.
Q: Do I need to remove my jewelry prior to an MRI or surgery?
A: Please consult with your physician. If you need to remove jewelry for a procedure, cut the welded link with a pair of scissors. We can re-weld your jewelry at no additional cost for MRI/surgery related removals.
Q: How long does it take to complete?
A: We like to book an hour for each appointment from start to finish to allow you to choose your chains and charms. If you’ve already chosen your chain(s) and charm(s), your appointment will likely be 15-30 minutes.

Q: What materials are used for permanent jewelry?
A: Arlo Boutique offers Sterling Silver, 14kt Gold Filled and 12/14kt Rose Gold Filled chains. Our pieces are both durable and beautiful.
Sterling Silver is an alloy made up of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper or zinc. Sterling silver pieces are stamped with 925 to mark their authenticity.
14kt Gold Filled contains a minimum of 5% 12K or 14K gold by weight on top of a high quality jewellers brass core. Rose gold filled has a solid layer of 14k gold, bonded to a base metal of brass.
Q: How do I care for my permanent jewelry?
Our Sterling Silver, 14kt Gold Filled jewelry can be cleaned with warm water and Dawn dish soap. To remove dirt and oils from your pieces, feed your polishing cloth gently through the gap between the jewelry and your wrist, and gently rub the cloth back and forth over the surfaces of the jewelry.
POLICIES FOR PERMANENT JEWELRY
Deposits
All appointments require a deposit and must be booked through Vagaro’s encrypted system. If you do not have a credit card please request your appointment online and send forward your deposit of $30 via e-transfer to hello@arloboutique.com.
Cancellations, No-Shows, Rescheduling and Late Arrivals
Arlo Boutique has a 24 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy. If you cancel or change your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of the service cost. This policy is in place out of respect for our artists and other clients. By giving last minute notice or no notice, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot.
No-Show or Late Arrival Policy No-shows will be charged 100% of the service cost. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, your appointment may be rescheduled and you may be charged 50% of the service cost OR the artist will complete the service in the time remaining on your appointment.
Confirm it or lose it - Confirm your appointments through the link provided by Vagaro 24 hours prior to your appointment to ensure your appointment is not cancelled.
Warranty and Refunds
All permanent jewelry sales are FINAL.
Our permanent jewelry comes with a 30 day limited warranty. At the time of your appointment, we ensure that there are no issues with the chain and that your piece is securely welded together. If the jump ring breaks at the weld point, we will replace it free of charge.
If your chain gets caught or if pressure is applied to it, the chain could stretch or break. If your chain is compromised due to this, Arlo Boutique will offer one complimentary weld within 30 days of your original appointment. Replacement chains can be purchased at a discounted price.
After the 30 day limited warranty, a replacement chain can be purchased at full price.
If your chain falls off, please reach out to customer service at hello@arloboutique.com. We will examine the chain before re-welding it to ensure there are no issues with the integrity of the chain.
Chains must be present in order to process a replacement or re-weld.
Arlo Boutique does not provide any refunds as each appointment is taken out at a cost to the studio. Results are not guaranteed as many factors outside of the artist can affect the healing process and final result such as client aftercare, client skin type, client lifestyle, etc.
Release of Liability
Arlo Boutique Artists holds absolutely no liability for any negligence on behalf of the client; incidents or accidents that arise due to a lapse in a reasonable duty of care. The artist holds absolutely no liability for potential injury, infection, reactions, buyer’s remorse, or accident on the premises.
Client Refusal
Arlo Boutique artists reserves the right to refuse any client that is deemed unfit.

Most of our jewelry is made with a durable stainless-steel base that is designed to last, but it's still important to take good care of it. Our best advice is to wear your jewelry often and store it properly when not in use. Avoid keeping your jewelry in a humid area such as a bathroom to prevent any potential damage.
Q: Does your jewelry tarnish?
A: We take pride in crafting jewelry that is both beautiful and long-lasting. While our extra-thick layers of gold make our pieces highly tarnish-resistant, it's important to note that all natural metals may tarnish over time. To keep your jewelry looking its best, we recommend following our care instructions. In the event that your jewelry does tarnish, don't worry - simply use the polishing cloth that comes with your order to gently buff your pieces and restore their natural shine.

Q: Where does Arlo Boutique ship?
A: We ship to anywhere in Canada and the US. We offer fast and reliable shipping to ensure that you receive your order in a timely manner.

Q: How much is your shipping fee?
A: Our shipping rates start at $10 for orders within Canada, and $15 for orders within the United States. We offer free shipping for orders over $150. See our shipping rates here.
Q: Do you offer returns or exchanges?
RETURNS
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, please note that we do not offer refunds, except in the case of damaged items.
If you need to make a return, please contact us via email at hello@arloboutique.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. Eligible items must be returned with tags attached, unworn, and are subject to inspection.
If you are eligible to make a return, you may do so for exchange or store credit within 14 days of the date of delivery. You may mail the items back to us or bring them to our returns location in Calgary.
EXCHANGE
After we receive your eligible return and process it, we will send you an email containing a store credit. You can use this credit to place a new order on our website.
